Futureproof is a free youth programme for young people aged 16 - 21 from Newtownbutler, Clones and Belturbet. It is part of the RESTART project, which is working to bring these three border communities together.

Over five Saturday workshops and one residential weekend, participants will take on new challenges, build resilience and meet people from across the border. Activities include archery, canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling, caving, wild camping and bushcraft, alongside music, art and drama sessions led by creative therapists and counsellors. Outdoor activities are delivered by qualified instructors.

Each young person will also create their own piece of the Jigsaw of Us, a collective artwork that explores identity and belonging. The pieces will be joined together and shown at a public showcase.
