Counselling Services
At Make A Melody, we have been dedicated to fostering well-being through our music therapy programs. Now, we are expanding our services to include counselling support for young people in secondary education. Through our contract with the Education Authority in Northern Ireland (EA), we are delighted to provide supportive counselling services to both mainstream and special schools.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support the emotional and mental well-being of students, helping them navigate the complexities of adolescence with confidence and resilience. We strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where students can express themselves freely and develop the skills they need to thrive both academically and personally
Our Services
Individual Counselling Sessions
Individual counselling sessions offer a confidential space for students to discuss their personal concerns and challenges. Our experienced therapists provide support for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, academic stress, peer relationships, and family dynamics. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the student, promoting personal growth and emotional resilience
Group Counselling Sessions
Group counselling sessions provide students with the opportunity to share their experiences and learn from their peers in a supportive group setting. These sessions focus on topics such as stress management, social skills, self-esteem, and coping strategies, fostering a sense of community and mutual support among students.
Workshops and Seminars
We offer workshops and seminars for students, teachers, and parents. These sessions cover important topics such as mental health awareness, resilience building, conflict resolution, and effective communication. Our goal is to create a holistic support system that involves the entire school community.
